Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is the use of water in the treatment of different conditions such as arthritis, back pain, post operation, post accident or stroke Rehabilitation. Hydrotherapy differs from swimming because it involves special exercises that you do in a pool customised by a physiotherapist or a physiotherapist’s assistant. The focus of the exercises can be adjusted to help you regain range of movement or strength, depending on your symptoms.

Hydrotherapy can help you in a number of different ways:

-
The warmth of the water helps the muscles to relax helping you to move them better.
-
The water supports body weight, which helps to relieve pain and helps in increase the range of movement of your joints.
-
The water can be used to provide assistance or resistance to your muscles and joints and can help in improving muscle strength.
